The show aquarium is the
classic fish tank used with hang-on filters, canister filters or under
gravel filters. Tenecor offers over 100 versions of this classic aquarium in a variety
of sizes and shapes.
- Standard sizes range from 70 gallons to over 1,300 gallons.
- Standard dimensions range from 36" to 120" long;
15" to 48" wide and 16" to 60" high.
- Custom sizes and configurations are also available,
Features of the standard Tenecor show aquarium:
- Bent front corners in rectangular models 30" or lower in
height and 72"x24" in length x width. Rectangle models
larger than a 72" x 24" footprint (length x width) have
square (bonded) corners. All Ultraquariums have square corners. Many
of the other shapes Tenecor offers have bent front viewing panels,
depending on the length of the viewing panel.
- Choice of dark blue, black or clear background walls.
- Tank access holes with lids; filter slot(s) along back side and
corner holes for filter and submersible pump wiring are standard.
- All square corners on the aquarium are flame polished to eliminate
a sharp edge to avoid cuts.

information, or to place a semi-custom aquarium order.
The standard bent corner (at no additional charge) on most of our
standard aquariums, less that 30" high, is very desirable in most
"against a wall" placements of the fish tank. However,
the square corners option (on 72x24 footprint or smaller aquariums) will
be used in the following circumstances:
- The aquarium is an all around view tank and square corners all
around are desired for a uniform look.
- The end panel(s) of the aquarium are to be colored, with viewing
through the longer front/back panels.
- The tank is to be placed in a wall and square corners will
facilitate the finish carpentry around the aquarium.
For Ultraquariums, tanks with a 72x24 or larger footprint or tanks
over 30" high , can have the normal square or mitered corners
converted into bent corners or radius formed corners, by line bending or
oven forming of the tank panel. However, this is always a custom
application. An example of a bent body tank is shown below:
